Football is focused on action and reaction, and those who practice reacting quickly in a variety of directions will dominate the field. The point to this drill is having players practice quick directional changes on the field. Start off by placing the player on any crossing lined area on the field, anything just like a small for square area. Then your player will proceed to jump from on area or box to a different, thus forcing the player to jump laterally, diagonally, frontwards, and backwards. Changes could be made so your player is only going to use one foot and then the other while they run the drill.
Prevent fumbles with strong techniques
You can’t run with the football and soon you have discovered some basic ball security measures. Football teams have lost many games because a few players were lax within ball carrying and fumbled the football. A great way to teach tight ball security is by using four points. ทีเด็ดบอลเดี่ยว The initial point could be the claw, meaning that the fingers are wrapped over the tip of the football. The 2nd point is your forearm wrapped round the ball and shielding it from the defense. Third point is to really have the ball held tight against the bicep to avoid defenders from punching up through from behind. The last point is keeping the football high and tight against the ribcage. Run a few drills were the ball carrier runs via a pack of defenders to practice. In this manner you can practice great defensive moves to force a fumble, and also give attention to offensive ball protection.
Making a great hand off
If you are a quarterback, running back, or a person that at anytime will be given a hand off you will need to realize the basic principles of a great hand off. We will explain this in a standard scenario between a quarterback and a running back. A running back at the start of a hand off should give the quarterback a target by opening his arms which can be in front of his chest enough allowing about one and a half footballs in. When the quarterback slides the ball to the arms, or the pocket because it is named, the running back closes his arms round the ball to protect it. As the running back runs off with the football it is important to remain low to increase agility and speed.
Dehydration can be an enemy to football success
Sufficient water intake on and off the field for athletes should be described as a concern for both the coaches and the players. Every player must have a water bottle close so that they can take quick water breaks or at the least a swallow here and there. Bear in mind that if you prevent, punish, or elsewhere use water as a motivational tool it’s very counterproductive, and there are numerous other motivating paths as you are able to take. Keeping everyone happy and hydrated will go a long way to an effective practice.
